Radiology is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of disease visualized within the body. Our Radiographers use an array of imaging technologies such as plain and contrast radiography (x-rays) and Ultrasound scan, for the diagnosis of ailments.

Services Offered
Ultrasound Scan – This includes Obstetric scan, breast scan, gynaecological scan, prostate scan, thyroid scan, general abdomen scan, scrotal scan.

When should I have an ultrasound scan done?
• When I am Pregnant
• Suspected abdominal injury following accidents
• Pain in any part of the body
• Swelling or mass on or in the body
• Suspected hernia
• Persistent fever of unknown cause.

Scan Preparation
• You may be required to drink water in order to have a full bladder or have overnight fasting.
